Oakfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8092 received its charter on August 14, 1946.  There were 35 charter members.  We currently have 67 members.
The Post owns its own canteen and club house with no debt.
We have an active color guard and perform Military Funeral honors.
We have several fund raisers every year including brat fries, cash raffles, soup Sunday and a golf outing.  We donate annually to Fisher House, VFW National Home, Veterans Home at King, Highground in Neillsville and other community projects.
